The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Business Education.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- MA Ed in the relevant field or Masters in Business Management with a background in Education – a PhD would be an added advantage.
- A minimum experience of three (3) years of teaching courses in the required area in an institution of higher education; preferably on a full-time basis
- A proven record of research, conferences and seminar presentations in the relevant area.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer will be responsible for the following:
- Design courses, teach and supervise research at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Supervise Teaching Practice;
- Present relevant papers at national and international conferences;
- Undertake research and publish in the area of specialization;
- Partake in community service;
- Diligently perform any other duties as shall be required by the Department and Faculty.
- REMUNERATION
The University offers salaries and other benefits that are commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the applicant who shall qualify for the appointment.
- TYPE OF CONTRACT
The contract shall be permanent and pensionable for local applicants, and contractual for non-local applicants.
