Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants for the post of Lecturer must hold a minimum of an LLM, a PhD/LLD degree will be an added advantage. Furthermore, applicants must have experience in handling procedural law courses at undergraduate and post graduate levels. Candidates must have 10 years’ experience in practising in the courts of law.
Teaching experience and research requirements shall meet minimum requirements set out in the Appointment and Promotions Criteria/Guidelines for teaching and research staff at NUL, as per the relevant rank.
Knowledge of advanced Learning Management Systems (LMS) will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent will be expected to promote the professional development of law students through teaching, supervision and research in his/her area of expertise. The incumbent should have the ability to handle courses taught by the departments of Private Law and Public Law should the need arise. Further, the incumbent is expected to develop up to date study materials, deliver lectures and assess students as per the rules and regulations of the Faculty of Law. Administrative duties may also be assigned by the Faculty from time to time.

The University offers salaries and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Employment type
Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable terms for Locals, and Two Years Contract for Non-Locals with a possibility of renewal.
