DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS AND ELECTRONICS
POST NO: 2385 – LECTURER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of a Lecturer in the above mentioned department.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum qualification is a Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline. PhD will be an added advantage.
At least 10 years’ experience in teaching the technical (solar, wind & hydro) and socioeconomic (finance & economics) issues of Renewable Energy Technologies at postgraduate level.
Research publications in reputable journals.
Have worked or done consultancy for industry.
Software modelling skills of renewable energy technologies.
Communication skills: writing and presentations.
Experience with Learning Management Systems to teach and interact with students.
DUTIES
Lecturing in postgraduate in the fields specified above, designing and implementing related experiments to field of specialisation. Conducting research in relevant fields and supervising of students’ projects. Assisting in the departmental and faculty administrative duties as the need may
arise.
CONTRACT DURATION:
The appointment will be on permanent and pensionable terms for locals and contract/gratuitable for non-locals subject to completion of probation.
