The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer in Teaching & Instructional Design (Instructional Technology) & Clinical Supervision (Instructional Leadership).

1.0 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

   A minimum of Masters Degree in Teaching and Instructional Design (Instructional Technology) & Clinical Supervision (Instructional Leadership);

   A qualification in teacher education;

   A PhD in the related field is preferred;

   Taken courses in Instructional Design & Clinical Supervision;

    Teaching experience in Instructional Design & Clinical Supervision at an institution of higher learning;

   Teaching experience at school level;

   A proven research record in the related field;

   Knowledge of and experience in the use of learning management systems and various technological platforms used in teaching and learning at higher at higher education.

2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Lecturer will:

   Teach courses in Instructional Design and Clinical Supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;

   Provide students support to access and use Thuto and Other LMS (e.g. MOODLE, Google Classroom);

   Be   responsible   for   Microteaching   Programme;   Develop   assessment tools for Microteaching presentations and portfolios;

   Participate in the Faculty’s Teaching Practice Programme.

3.0 TYPE OF CONTRACT:

The   appointment   will   be   on   permanent   and   pensionable   terms   for locals and contract/gratuitable for non-locals subject to completion of probation.

4.0 REMUNERATION:
