Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Master’s degree in Statistics with training in Operations Research, and/or a PhD in Statistics with training in Operations Research
- For Lecturer level:
- Relevant working experience in statistics, including teaching at university level, training statisticians, and/or application of statistics in research
- For Senior Lecturer level:
- At least six (6) years’ teaching experience at university level
- Proven research record, including at least three (3) peer-reviewed publications
- Must already hold an equivalent position at a higher education institution at the time of application
- Skills in teaching theoretical and applied Statistics and Operations Research courses
- Ability to conduct research and supervise student research projects
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach courses and supervise students’ research projects
- Participate in research activities within the Department
- Undertake any additional duties, including administrative responsibilities, as required by the Department
Remuneration
The University offers salaries and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Employment Type
Two (2) year contract, with the possibility of renewal
