Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
For Locals:
• A Doctoral Degree in Pure Mathematics
• Teaching experience at University level (advantage)
• Peer‑reviewed publications (advantage)
For Non‑Locals:
• A Doctoral Degree in Pure Mathematics
• Two (2) years’ teaching experience at University level
• Five (5) years university teaching experience and evidence of extensive journal or conference publications (added advantage)
Duties and Responsibilities
• Undertake teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Initiate and supervise postgraduate projects
• Administer quizzes, assignments, tests and examinations
• Coordinate and/or supervise tutorial sessions
• Coordinate and/or supervise students’ tutorial assistants
• Invigilate examinations
• Mark scripts
• Initiate and/or participate in research programmes and programme development within the department
• Perform other duties, including administrative tasks, as required by the department and/or faculty

• Non‑Locals: Two‑year contract position
