The National University of Lesotho (NUL) invites applications from suitably
qualified candidates for the position of a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in
Physics Education – Faculty of Education Post No. 0950: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Physics Education
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
A candidate must hold a PhD degree in Science Education with Chemistry
background and have a Chemistry teaching experience at high school level
or tertiary chemistry teacher education experience. Experience of
supervising at post graduate level will be an added advantage. In addition,
the incumbent must have relevant research experience and discernable
potential/capacity to initiate projects and activities relevant to the teaching
and learning of Chemistry and/or science in general.
Knowledge of learning management system will be an added advantage.
Duties for Teacher Educator:
Teaching Chemistry Education courses at both undergraduate and post –
graduate levels,
Teaching Science Education courses at both undergraduate and post –
graduate levels,
Supervising students’ research projects,
Supervising students during Teaching Practice,
Conducting research and engage in relevant community activities
Performing any other duties that promote and develop the department as
may be assigned from time to time.
Remuneration:
The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with
qualification and experience.

Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals and Contract for NonLocals.
