Professor/ Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Pastoral/Spiritual Care and Counseling or Clinical/Counseling Psychology

Professor/Associate Professor
Applicants should possess:
- A Ph. D in Spiritual/Pastoral Care and Counseling or in Clinical/Counseling Psychology.
- University teaching experience of at least 10 years at both the Undergraduate and Post-Graduate levels.
- Proven track record of research and publishing with reputable publishers in areas of Spiritual/Pastoral Care and Counseling or Clinical/Counseling Psychology.
- Must have a minimum of 5 journal articles published in accredited journal(s).
- Proven track record and experience of at least 10 years in clinical (individual and group) counseling practice or psychotherapy.
- Proven track record and extensive experience in community service.
- Proven track record and extensive experience in management and leadership at academic institutions of higher learning.
- Proven track record and extensive experience in mentorship of junior staff.
- Proven track record of ability to source funds for research and conferencing.
Duties:
The successful applicant shall be expected to:
- Teach courses at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
- Carry out research and publication in the departmental and interdepartmental levels.
- Supervise the undergraduate scientific research projects.
- Supervise Ph.D. and M.A. Dissertations.
- Contribute to the development of the Department, the Faculty of Humanities and the National University of Lesotho at large.
- Engage in meaningful and productive community activities.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the post.
Senior Lecturer
- A Ph. D. in Spiritual/Pastoral Care and Counseling or in Clinical/Counseling Psychology.
- University teaching experience of at least 5 years at both the Undergraduate and Post-Graduate levels.
- Proven track record of research and publishing with reputable publishers in areas of Spiritual/Pastoral Care and Counseling or Clinical/Counseling Psychology.
- Must have published with reputable publishers at least 2 journal articles.
- Proven track record and experience in supervising post-graduate research students.
- Proven track record and experience of at least 5 years in counseling practice or psychotherapy.
- Proven track record and experience in community service.
- Proven track record and experience in management and leadership at academic institutions of higher learning.
- Proven track record and experience in mentorship of junior staff.
- Proven track record of academic teamwork.
Duties:

Lecturer
- A Masters in Spiritual/Pastoral Care and Counseling or in Clinical/Counseling Psychology; a Ph. D. will be an added advantage.
- Background qualification in Spiritual/Pastoral Care and Counseling or in Clinical/Counseling Psychology at Bachelor Degree.
- University teaching experience of counseling or psychology at the Undergraduate level.
- Proven track record of research and publishing with reputable publishers in areas of Spiritual/Pastoral Care and Counseling or Clinical/Counseling Psychology.
- Proven track record and experience in supervising undergraduate research projects will be an added advantage.
- Proven track record and experience in counseling practice or psychotherapy will be an added advantage.
- Proven track record and experience in community service will be an added advantage.

- Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the post.
