DEPARTMENT OF NURSING
FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES
The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of LECTURER IN NURSING.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- A Registered Nurse with a Master’s Degree specialized in Community health nursing
- At least three years of teaching experience and supervising learners at College/University level.
- Experience in Curriculum Development and Measurement and Evaluation
- Be registered with the National Nursing Council.
- PhD holder or learner enrolled in PhD will be an added advantage
- Publications will be an added advantage
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the design of new programs/courses in the Department.
- Participate in implementing Competency-Based and E-learning curricula.
- Participate in online to teaching
- Conduct teaching at undergraduate
- Promote team-building in the Department and Faculty
- Ability to source research grants.
- Undertake research and supervises students’ dissertations.
- Participate in research activities in the Department
- Liaises with other departments in the faculty.
- Initiate, participate in and perform any other duty including administration as would be required from time to time by the Head of the Department.

- Remuneration:
The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience. - Type of employment:
Permanent and pensionable (depending on the age) /gratuitable terms for Locals, and Two Years’ Contract for Non-Locals with a possibility of renewal. - Information Required from Candidates:
