Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following post:
Post Nos. 2335: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Mathematics
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Lecturer:
- A Doctoral degree in Mathematics (Applied and/or Pure).
- Local Applicants with M.Sc. in Mathematics (Applied and/or Pure) will be considered.
- Some teaching experience at university level will be preferred.
Senior Lecturer:
- A Doctoral Degree in Mathematics (Applied and/or Pure).
- At least three (3) years of University teaching experience.
- A notable record of research publications in reputable journals, which are accessible through the internet.
- Applicant should be a Senior Lecturer at the current occupation.
Duties:
- Undertake teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Initiate and /or participate in research programmes and program development within the department.
- Perform other duties, including administrative, as would be required by the department.
The successful candidates will be expected to assume duty on as soon as possible after the closing date for applications.

The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Type of Contract:
Gratuitable contract for a period of two years.
