Minimum Requirements

A PhD in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related discipline with at least 2 years’ experience,
OR
A Master’s Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of teaching or industry experience.

Key Areas of Specialization

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to integrate innovative teaching methodologies and technology into the learning environment
A portfolio of academic or professional work will be an added advantage
Evidence of published research (for Media Studies Lecturer)
A commitment to student success and inclusive teaching practices

Proof of NMDS Sponsorship Loan Status:
- Proof of settlement of NMDS loan
- OR proof of non-sponsorship by NMDS
- OR proof of ongoing repayment
- OR an undertaking letter authorizing the University to deduct loan repayments from salary if successful
