Position: Lecturer in Hospitality
Educational Background
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold a PhD in Hospitality Management or a related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in higher education or the hospitality industry.
- Possess a Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management / Food and Beverage Management (or an equivalent qualification) with at least three (3) years of relevant teaching and/or industry experience.
- Hold a related qualification with equivalent professional relevance.
Areas of Specialization
Candidates must be well-versed in the following areas:
- Hospitality Strategic Management
- Banqueting and Catering Management
- Events Project Management
Key Attributes
Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
- Good computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English
- High level of professionalism
Application Requirements
Candidates must submit the following:
- Signed application letter
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) – minimum of three (3) pages
- Certified copies of academic certificates, transcripts, and a valid identification document
- Names and contact details of three (3) professional referees
- Proof of NMDS loan status, which must be one of the following:
- Evidence of full settlement of NMDS sponsorship loan
- Proof that the candidate was not sponsored by NMDS
- Proof that the candidate is currently repaying the NMDS loan
- An undertaking letter, stating that if the candidate is successful, they authorize the University to deduct NMDS repayments from their salary
