1.0 Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered, applicants must have:
A good MA in History;
Some student assistantship at the University level;
Be able to undertake PhD studies;
Candidates with ability to teach Southern African History will be given preference;
Candidates with ability to teach in at least one of the other two majors offered in the Department will be given preference.
2.0 Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise students’ projects and dissertations;
Participate in research and publication activities of NUL;
Perform duties that may be assigned by the Department, Faculty, and NUL.
3.0 Type of Contract
Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals and Contract for Non-Locals.
4.0 REMUNERATION:
