LECTURER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of a Lecturer in Development Studies.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Master of Development Studies, PhD will be an added advantage
- Background qualification in Development Studies at Bachelor’s Degree
- University teaching experience in a broad range of Development Studies areas of specialization
- Evidence of publishing in reputable journals
- Knowledge of using online learning management system, preferably Sakai
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach at undergraduate/ postgraduate levels.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects / postgraduate dissertations
- Participate in the research programs of the Department/Faculty.
- Carry out teaching and conduct research in his/her area of expertise;
- Assume administrative duties if required to so.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the post.

Employment Type
Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable terms for Locals, and two Years’ Contract for Non-Locals
