Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Candidates must possess at least an MSc in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Additional advantages include:
- A PhD with strong industry experience, and/or
- Proven teaching experience at a recognized university or equivalent institution of higher learning.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Teach Chemical Technology courses to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise laboratory sessions for the practical components of assigned courses.
- Oversee undergraduate and postgraduate student projects.
- Participate actively in the department’s research activities.
- Write research proposals to attract funding, and design new courses and programs for undergraduate and postgraduate training.
- Develop mechanisms and platforms to collaborate with industry and foster new industry creation.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the department
Remuneration:
The University offers salaries and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Employment type
Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable terms for Locals, and Two Years Contract for Non-Locals with a possibility of renewal.
