Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Ph.D. in Business Management with concentration in Entrepreneurship.
- A strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals in the fields of Entrepreneurship, Innovation/Business Development or related areas.
- Experience in teaching and curriculum development at the university level.
- Ability to supervise postgraduate research in Entrepreneurship and Business Management related areas.
- Engagement in entrepreneurial initiatives, industry experience, or business consultancy will be an added advantage.
Conditions:
- For Senior Lecturer candidates must have at least six (6) years teaching experience at the university level and must be in this position at the time of application.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business Management, with a focus on Entrepreneurship.
- Conduct research and publish in reputable academic journals, particularly in Entrepreneurship and Business Management.
- Supervise postgraduate students and mentor early-career researchers.
- Develop and update curricula to align with emerging trends in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Business Development.
- Engage in community outreach, consultancy, and industry collaboration, in entrepreneurial ecosystems.
- Contribute to departmental administration, research initiatives, and programme development.
Remuneration:
The University offers salaries and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Employment type
Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable terms for Locals, and Two Years Contract for Non-Locals with a possibility of renewal.
