LECTURER IN ANIMAL PHYSIOLOGY
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of a Lecturer in the Department of Biology in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the National University of Lesotho.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
We are seeking an energetic and innovative scientist with a minimum qualification of a Master’s Degree in Zoology or related field.
- A Master’s Degree in Zoology with a specialisation in Animal Physiology.
- Experience of teaching at tertiary institutions and research, and/or a Ph.D.
Degree in Zoology with a specialisation in Animal Physiology or related field will be an added advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach Animal Physiology and other Zoology Courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supervise students’ research projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Conduct research and engage in relevant community service activities.
- Perform any other duties, including administrative, as may be required by the Department.
CONTRACT TERMS
The appointment will be on permanent and pensionable terms of service for Lesotho nationals and on two-year renewable contract and gratuitable terms of service for expatriate candidates, in accordance with the University regulations.
