Competencies and Attributes:
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of fashion design and garment construction.
Excellent teaching, communication, and mentorship skills. Creativity and innovation in lesson delivery and curriculum design.
Strong organizational and time management skills. Commitment to continuous professional development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS.
Education:
A First Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a similar discipline with at least three (3) years of relevant industry or teaching experience.
OR
A Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a similar discipline with at least seven (7) years of relevant experience.
Certifications: TVET Instructor Certification (Mandatory).
Teaching Methodology Certification (Mandatory). Assessor/Moderator Certification (preferred).
Professional Affiliations (Mandatory): Membership in relevant technical or academic bodies, such as Fashion Design Associations, Textile Industry Bodies, or TVET Academic Bodies.
