LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER
DEPARTMENT – ECONOMICS
FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES
The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified local candidates for the above position.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
The applicant should have the following credentials:
A Master’s Degree in Economics with a coursework
Strong background in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and Quantitative Methods/Techniques
Specialization in Environmental Economics, Energy Economics, or Health Economics.
Publications in recognized or accredited journals and experience in tertiary- level teaching of the above-mentioned courses will be an added advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will be expected to lecture courses at undergraduate, supervise and monitor student’s projects/dissertations.
REMUNERATION
The University offers competitive salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
TYPE OF CONTRACT
Permanent and pensionable/ gratuitable for locals and a contract/gratuitable for Non-Locals.
