Metropolitan Lesotho is a wholly owned subsidiary of Momentum Metropolitan Group, a company registered on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. We are currently looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual in the position of Learning & Development Facilitator based in Maseru, Lesotho. The incumbent will report directly to the Learning & Development Manager.
Role Purpose
To Facilitate and monitor knowledge acquisition and reporting on the effectiveness of programs and interventions in accomplishing the long-term skills development objectives of the company.
Requirements
- A degree in Human resources Management or Industrial Psychology.
- 2 years Sales experience or Sales training background.
- Experience in learning and development, instructional design or facilitation experience within an insurance or financial services environment will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and understanding of business processes, insurance products and fit and proper legislation.
- Knowledge of and experience in HR practices and legislation
Duties & Responsibilities
- Keep abreast of trends, legislation, and best practices within the learning delivery field to optimize service delivery and identify solutions to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Contribute to the optimization of functional and reliable Learning Management systems and processes.
- Ensure all L&D business requirements are met, leading to a fully productive workforce.
- Design, conduct and organize training programs to improve employee performance.
- Develop training curriculum for new and existing employees.
- Develop teaching aids such as training handbooks and make them available for all.
- Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
- Create partnerships with relevant stakeholders to understand business priorities and requirements.
- Develop service level agreements and standards across all touch points to ensure that all stakeholders receive clear and accurate information and are kept informed at all times.
- Drive a culture that guides excellence, fostering an environment of continuous learning, improvement and cohesiveness.
