About the Project
BAM Group Foundation (BGF) is implementing a project funded under the WYDE | Women’s Leadership Initiative as a grantee. The programme aims to strengthen young women’s leadership, transform social norms, and enhance women’s participation in political and governance processes in Lesotho.
Purpose of the Assignment
BGF seeks a qualified consultant to lead the development of a Women’s Political Leadership Toolkit under the WYDE Women’s Leadership Initiative.
The toolkit will support the project’s leadership development interventions and serve as a structured learning resource for emerging women leaders participating in the programme.
Scope of Work
The Leadership Toolkit Development Consultant will be responsible for:
- Designing the toolkit framework and learning architecture
- Developing structured training and manual content covering key leadership competencies
- Producing facilitator and participant versions, where applicable
- Integrating practical exercises, case studies, and contextualised local examples
- Ensuring content alignment with project themes, including:
- Political Literacy
- Advocacy
- Diplomacy
- Negotiation
- Communication and Public Speaking
- Leadership and Ethics
- Validating content with BGF and key stakeholders
- Finalising the toolkit for print and digital dissemination
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Degree in Education, Political Science, Development Studies, Curriculum Design, Leadership, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing training curricula, toolkits, or manuals
- Experience in women’s leadership, governance, civic education, or political participation (preferred)
- Strong instructional design and writing skills
