Help Lesotho Leaders in Training (LIT) Program graduates are strong, resilient critical thinkers who become peer-to-peer agents of change in their communities. You will receive life skills training, psychosocial support and leadership skills, pre-employment career guidance and professional development. Note that LIT is a training program and does not guarantee employment with Help Lesotho.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: 9 December 2022
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES: foster healthy decision making to youth; empower youth to take actions towards improving their lives and communities; help youth to develop hope, courage and coping strategies.
SELECTION: 65 young people, aged 18-27 years, will be selected. Only those selected will be contacted.
PROGRAM DATES: Tuesdays – Fridays from 7th February to 17th March 2023 (6 weeks)
LOCATION: Hlotse, Leribe – Help Lesotho Seotlong Centre*
*Candidates who make their own arrangements to stay in Hlotse in order to attend the training are encouraged to apply. Note that no financial support will be provided.
