Based in Johannesburg, Randburg but will need to travel across South Africa
Job overview/description
Lead Trainers will be expected to contribute to the training of a minimum of 5 000 child-focused service providers (including ECD practitioners, community health workers, social workers, etc.) Will undergo training to be equipped to train ECD Practitioners and Caregivers.
Responsibilities

Attends TOT before and during the contract duration.
Ensures that participants are available for the duration of the project and attend all workshops
Create a database of Practitioners in designated Provinces to use as a reservoir when needing participants.
Recruits Practitioners for the workshops
Mentors and coaches the Practitioners
Create a Whatsapp group for team
Ensure all Covid-19 protocols are observed at all times.
Be ready to travel across provinces to conduct workshops.
Collects success stories and accompanying visual material
Identifies 5 Caregivers right at the beginning and take their picture every week for the duration of the workshop. Make an appointment and visit Caregivers at least 3 times per week for the duration of the workshop at home when they are playing with children.
Prepares all logistics for the training, namely, venue: 30 minutes before training, prepare yourself for training delivery, ensure that in each training registers and
Collects all M&E Tools (e.g. attendance registers, Covid screening forms, food issuing registers etc.) submit to M&E designated team member. all paperwork is done and uploaded, write and submit daily reports with team
Builds partnerships/relationships with Local Government Structures, CBOs, CSOs, DSD, DBE, DOH and other Community Stakeholders
Attends Project Task Team meetings
Completes a weekly plan and submit to line manager
Completes a weekly report and submit to line manager
Submits monthly timesheets to line manager before month end
Executes any other work that would be deemed necessary, assigned by the line manager.

Minimum requirements
Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric)
1 Year Post Matric Qualification in any Training Field
An accredited facilitator course SAQA US 117871 will be an advantage

Skills and Competencies

Computer literacy
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to support colleagues and provide/receive constructive feedback
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Playfulness
Proven experience as a Play Facilitator

Salary  Amount

R 14 000.00 (Total Cost to Company)

Knowledge of Play Every Day and Play Through the Day
Have Drivers Licence
Own vehicle will an advantage
