Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation (EGPAF) is a USA based Organization with public health programs around the World. It creates a future of hope for children and families worldwide by eradicating pediatric AIDS, providing care and treatment for people with HIV and AIDS, and accelerating the discovery of new treatments for other serious and life threatening pediatric illnesses. EGPAF’s work is funded through private donations, PEPFAR via the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Centres for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), Unitaid, etc.

POSITION TITLE
Programs

Lay Counsellors (174); 130 – Community based Index testing 44 – Facility based Index testing

Districts; Quthing, Qacha’s Nek, Thaba- Tseka, Butha-Buthe, Mokhotlong

Job Summary

• Responsible for compiling index list from the Health facility ART
register.

• Prepare weekly and monthly index schedules.
• Identify and conduct index testing for all identified patients within
the assigned Health Facilities.
• Collect compile and submit daily testing results to the health
facilities.
• Prepare monthly index testing reports for submission to the
district Coordinator.
• Liaise with the facility counsellors, TB screeners, and contact
tracers in the performance of assigned roles.
• Support in the documentation of program successes.
• Submit monthly reports.
• Collaborate with DC and M&E for data validation.

• Perform any other duties relevant to the position as may be
assigned by the counsellor.

Required Qualifications

C.O.S.C or relevant certification
Training in HIV/AIDS management

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
Non-judgmental attitudes, humanitarian values and ethics
Good report writing, training and computer skills will be an added advantage.
