Latest updates on COVID-19 suspected cases in Lesotho

On Monday, the Honourable Minister of Health (MoH), Honourable Nkaku Kabi announced that Lesotho continues to remain free against coronavirus (COVID-19) as all 48 suspected cases which were sent to South-Africa for testing all came out negative.

This is after more and more people arrived in the country from South-Africa through different channels and that include amongst others porous borders.

The Ministry of Health conducted 180 tests for COVID-19 between 5th and 9th May 2020. The tests were also shipped to South-Africa for testing and all tested negative for COVID-19. These add up to a total of 216 negative results for all cases in the country since declaration for COVID-19 pandemic.
