POSITION: Language and Cross Culture Coordinator
SALARY: Compensation from LSL 264, 438.00 to LSL 423, 113.00, negotiable based on salary history and experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5 years’ experience working in related fields such as designing and implementing language training programs or teaching language in a classroom or informal setting.
• University/college degree Education, Social Sciences or a related field
• Working in training and training design or education settings with adult learners
• Knowledge of diverse customs and practices in various regions of Lesotho and the ability to communicate these to Americans and able to design and conduct dynamic cross-cultural sessions
• Ability to receive security clearance from the U.S. Embassy Lesotho. A clean criminal record, drug-free and strong professional references from previous employers.
• Ability to work within a cross-cultural team which includes American and Lesotho citizen staff;
• Experience with training design, implementation, and evaluation
• Proven ability to plan, manage, and support complex programs and teams
• Relevant work experience including training and contacts with rural communities, government and NGO organizations.
