HS Construction Company (Pty) Ltd is a multi-disciplinary construction company incorporated in Lesotho in 2010. The company offers construction and project management services in the areas of Building, Roads, water supply, sanitation, infrastructure, construction management and other civil engineering related disciplines.
Therefore, we are looking for suitable candidates to be part of our Team:
LAND SURVEYOR
Responsibilities
- Conducting physical land surveys using tools like GPS, total stations, and theodolites to measure distances, angles, and elevations.
- Analyzing collected data to create detailed maps, plans, and reports using software like Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
- Establishing and verifying property lines and boundaries for legal and ownership purposes.
- Researching historical records, legal documents, and previous surveys to determine land rights.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate field notes, sketches, maps, and legal descriptions of surveys.
- Working with engineers, architects, construction teams, and clients to ensure plans align with project requirements.
- Ensuring all surveys meet regulations and standards.
- Overseeing and training junior surveyors and field staff, depending on experience level.
Requirements
- Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying & Geometrics or any relevant qualification.
- Proven Consultancy and Construction experience (5+ years).
- Experience with modern surveying software (e.g., GPS, total stations, CAD, GIS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and presenting survey findings.
