LAMPROOM ATTENDANTS
SCLCJV is Seeking to employ Lamp room attendants to control the managing of the Lamp room
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Issuing of Cap Laps and Rescue Packs,
• Calibration and issuing of Gas Testing equipment
• Record keeping of issuing and receiving of Cap Lamps, Rescue Packs, Gas Testing Equipment
• General maintenance of Lamp room
• Reporting of non-compliances and damages caused to equipment
• Required to do shift work
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Graduate 12 numeracy and literacy at NQF level 4
• Certified competent as a Lampman
• One-year experience as a relieving Lampman in the Underground Mining Environment. Trained in the control and maintenance of Cap Lamps, Rescue Packs and gas testing equipment
• English literacy is a pre-requisite & Computer literate
