Nexia SAB&T seeks to appoint a dynamic individual on a fixed term contract (as and when required) at the National Department of Health (In Pretoria) to fill the following position:
LABOUR LAW EXPERT (REF: 01/10/20) Hourly rate to be quoted aligned to DPSA Rates for Consultants
The Global Fund Unit within the NDOH has appointed more than 500 staff as contract employees. A need has been identified where they require services of a labour law expert to assist on a part-time basis. The services is required of a labour lawyer who has the knowledge, skill and fortitude to navigate the legal landscape when it comes to labour law matters.
IT MUST BE NOTED THAT IT IS THE INTENTION TO APPOINT AN INDIVIDUAL TO THIS POSITION AND NOT A FIRM OF ATTORNEYS, THEREFORE, ONLY INDIVIDUALS MEETING THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS WOULD BE CONSIDERED.

Qualification & Requirements:
LLB Degree Certificate
Diploma in Labour Law will be beneficial
Certificate of Right of Appearance
Practicing as an attorney in Pretoria
Applicants to demonstrate at least five (5) years’ experience in each of the following areas:
CCMA appearances
Labour Court matters
Disciplinary Hearings
Drafting of relevant contracts and/documents
Retrenchments
