Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Senior Laboratory Technologist, the Laboratory Technologist shall prepare and process samples, implement safety measures in carrying out their functions and prepare statistics.
Job requirements:
- Receive specimens from patients;
- Check samples for acceptance/rejection prior to processing;
- Process patient’s specimens;
- Analyse patients’ specimens;
- Propose and conduct further investigations to assist clinicians with proper diagnosis;
- Interpret results; and Other laboratory related functions.
Qualifications and work experience:
The candidate should hold a Diploma in Biomedical Sciences or related field with minimum 2 years of experience in the same field.
