The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following post:

FACULTY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY:

Post No. 2435:  Laboratory Technician in the Department of Physics and Electronics

 

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum qualification is a Diploma in Physics or Electronic/Electrical Engineering. Prior working experience in a physics or electronics laboratory will be preferred.  

 

Duties:

The successful candidate will be required to be able handle physics or electronics laboratory sessions in a professional manner. He/she should be able to set up required laboratory session experiments, assist students during the sessions, take laboratory equipment inventory from time to time, repair malfunctioning laboratory equipment and be active in working together with relevant lecturers to introduce new experimental set-ups, especially for students’ projects and staff research.

 

Successful candidate will be expected to resume duties from 1st July 2017.

The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.

 

Employment type:

Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals and Contract for Non – Locals.
