The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Laboratory Instructor.
The Department offers the following degrees: B.Sc. Information Systems, B.Sc.
Computer Science, B.Eng. Computer Systems and Networks (with Cisco
Systems Certification Programme: CCNA 1, 2, 3 & 4) and general B.Sc.
Computer Science double major with subjects like Mathematics, Statistics and
Physics.
1.0 Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
An Honours Degree in Computer Science (most preferred) or N.U.L B.Eng
Degree in Computer Systems and Networks, or Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Systems. Other related ICT degrees may be considered.
Teaching (tutoring) experience at a tertiary will be preferred.
2.0 Duties and Responsibilities:
Undertake teaching and laboratory work in all the main stream ICT courses
and computer literacy courses.
Initiate and /or participate in research programmes and program development within the department.
Perform other duties, including administrative, as would be required by the
department.
3.0 Remuneration:
The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
4.0 Employment type:
Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals and two year contract for Non-Locals.
