AFSA wishes to appoint a suitably qualified individual to serve as a Junior Project Coordinator for the Global Fund grant. Suitable applicants must reside in Gauteng- This position is based at Hatfield Pretoria. Applicants must have the ability to work in a demanding and high-pressured environment and be able to travel extensively and frequently.

Purpose of Job:

Requirements:
Advanced Diploma in Office Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification
2 years of professional experience in Programme Coordination
Excellent knowledge of grant processes and practices
Knowledge of financial and budgeting aspects of organizations
Experience working in either Global Fund, PEPFAR, EU or similar projects
Proven experience of working with Civil Society
Effective written and verbal communication skills
High level of critical thinking and logical analysis
Good organizational and time management skills
Able to work well under pressure and meet all deadlines
Always keeps the highest standards of compliance and confidentiality
Proficient in the use of MS Office
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Responsibilities:
Develop suppliers database with rate columns
Manage schedules for appointments and deadlines
Monitoring and record keeping of transactions
Sourcing and management of suppliers
Analyse budgetary line items for compliance with the contract agreement and as per the budget lines
Sourcing of quotes timely completion of requisition forms for approval of expenditure
Review and process reimbursements
Scheduling of virtual and in-person district, provincial and national meetings
Routinely update Programmes Contact Database
Recording and transcription of all meetings and trainings held
Routine Data Quality Assurance
Support and on-board community mobilisers on all project data collection tools
Document and develop programme standard operating procedures under the direction of the Project Officer
