To continue this digitalization, we are looking for a Junior Data Visualization Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dublin, Ireland to help build scalable, cutting edge technologies for today and tomorrow. This position is part of a global network with a focus around Europe, Middle East, Africa and Eurasia (EMEA) that uses deep technical skills to create and improve Data Visualization solutions that help the Coca-Cola Company grow and be more productive If you are up for challenges, eager to learn and highly motivated, we’d love to speak with you!


What you’ll do for us:

  • Design and build Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Visualization solutions that provide actionable business insights and deepen analytic capabilities in the Coca-Cola System in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region
  • Work in an agile environment with team members of EMEA of other Global teams
  • Initially will primarily focus on dashboard development using Power BI, progressing over time to ETL/ELT coding using PySpark/SQL, all hosted in Azure PaaS cloud environment
  • Work with Data Visualization Engineers, Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand business data and related processes
  • Using Agile and Dev/Ops methods, build applications using a variety of data sources (on-premise such as SQL Server, cloud IaaS/ PaaS, mostly Azure, sometimes Google Big Query/AWS)
  • Implement rules & automate data cleansing, mapping, transformation, logging, and exception handling.
  • Design, build, and deploy databases and data stores
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to promote technology strategies, analyze and test products, perform proofs-of-concept, and pilot new technologies and/or methods
  • Establish and document standards, guidelines, and best practices for teams utilizing the solutions.
  • Review vendor-built solution designs to ensure technology appropriateness, standards compliance, and platform capacity alignment


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Familiarity with Agile development of Data & Analytics solutions
  • Proven desire and ability to learn on-the-job
  • Intermediate skills in SQL
  • Intermediate skills in PowerBI or similar data visualization tools, study projects are sufficient
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with geographically diverse teams via collaborative technologies.
  • Working knowledge of public cloud business intelligence stack such as Azure Cloud BI stack (Azure certifications is a plus)
