We are looking for two passionate and skilled journalists to join our newsroom and contribute to high-quality reporting that makes an impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Research, investigate, and write compelling news stories and features.
– Conduct interviews with key sources, officials, and industry experts
– Capture and curate multimedia content (photos, videos, audio) to enhance storytelling
– Report on current affairs, politics, business, and social issues with accuracy and integrity.
– Edit and proofread articles to ensure clarity and journalistic standards.
– Work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality news reports.
– Stay up to date with local and global trends to deliver relevant content.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
— Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Journalism, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.
— At least one (1) year experience in Journalism, reporting or content writing will be an added advantage.
— Strong writing, research, and interviewing skills
— Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
— Proficiency in digital tools, social media, and multimedia storytelling
— Knowledge of media ethics, press laws, and journalistic integrity.
