Jo’burg Child Welfare seeks to appoint a Monitoring and Evaluation officer, to be based in Johannesburg.
Monthly gross salary: R 17 959.61
Duration: Six to 12 months with possibility of renewal
Responsibilities:
- Data collection and analysis
- Provide input on monitoring and evaluation framework/strategy, indicators used to measure impact, Information Management System, and monitoring and evaluation tools and system
- Training: Assist with training and technical support of organisation staff on monitoring and evaluation policies and procedures, data collection tools, data management systems, data analysis and reporting
- Research and Support monitoring and evaluation aspect of research projects
Requirements:
- University Degree in any of the following areas:
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Community or International Development Studies
- Project Planning and Management
- Development Economics
- Demography or Development Statistics
- Project Management
- Business Administration, or other related social sciences with at least
- Six to 12 months’ experience in monitoring and evaluation field
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and SharePoint)
- Knowledge of at least one data analysis software such as VIMS will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of local language advantageous
