It’s been a good football season. No fuss. But when will we buy match tickets via Ecocash?

Big ups, the Econet Premier League season has been nothing but amazing. And before we assume it’s the same old technique of heaping praise while we know there’s more criticism coming, this is not. It’s more of a suggestion if the subject is not a work in progress already.

There’s been notable progress in your product development. I was excited to also learn of your match betting services. Fits in quite well because it’s obviously Econet Premier League.

Now the tickets. We know that for a match scheduled at 3pm, less than half of the supporters would be seated in the stadium while the other half is yet to arrive with part of it fighting to purchase tickets at the Econet stalls close to the entrance.

This has happened a number of times at different venues. Half of the seats were only occupied after half time. I believe there’s more forces leading to that.

At the forefront, we want to watch the games. But the struggle to get the tickets is unbearable.

Can we at least have an option to also purchase them via Ecocash?

There’s benefits to this, obviously.

One of the main benefits of buying tickets from online or mobile services is convenience. We don’t want to stand in a long queue to buy a ticket. We want to buy from anywhere.

Essentially, it also gives you more time to sell, which is all day.

In the end we want to keep going and become ‘eco’-friendly. Go green! Save the environment.
