Position: IT Technician × 2
Limkokwing University of Creative Technology invites applications from highly skilled IT Technicians (two positions) to provide technical support, maintain IT systems, and manage infrastructure to ensure the smooth operation of all University technology services.
The successful candidates will support staff and students, coordinate helpdesk activities, maintain IT assets, and ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of hardware, software, databases, and network systems.
Education Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Qualifications and Professional Experience Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ relevant experience in IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and technical support
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking concepts, and database management
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge will be an added advantage
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective IT support
Areas of Specialisation and Core Competencies
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Knowledge of networking technologies, computer systems, and IT infrastructure
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when supporting non‑technical users
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Good organisational, documentation, and time management skills
- High level of integrity in handling confidential institutional data

- Names and contact details of three (3) contactable professional referees
- Proof of National Manpower Development Secretariat (NMDS) loan status, by submitting one of the following:
- Official confirmation that the NMDS sponsorship loan has been fully settled; or
- Official documentation confirming that the applicant was not sponsored by NMDS; or
- A signed undertaking letter authorising the University, upon successful appointment, to deduct monthly NMDS loan repayments directly from the applicant’s salary
Note: Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a Qualifications Verification Certificate from the Council on Higher Education (CHE) of Lesotho.
