Job brief
We are looking for a qualified IT Technician that will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. You will also “train” users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of IT infrastructure.
A successful IT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate is the one who has great trouble shooting abilities and ability to pay attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Networking projects, network cabinet clean-up
Remote user support from IT Office
Installation and Configuration of PABX systems
Installation and maintenance of CCTV systems
Min. requirements
Proven experience as an IT Technician with at least 2 years experience in data networking, configuring and Installing PABX systems and CCTV
Networking skills required include (But are not limited to): Ethernet RJ45 cabling conversations,fiber skills are also beneficial
Must be familiar with point of sale software installation
Excellent diagnostic and problem solving
Excellent communication ability
In depth understanding of ICT equipment, computer systems and networks
Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field.- a Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage
