It’s an exciting time to join Verra! Our organization is growing rapidly and building the capacity to meet strategic technical requirements. As such, we are seeking our first IT Procurement Manager to oversee our technology procurement and distribution function. In this role, you will take ownership of the entire procurement process, including supplier selection and management, price negotiation, purchase order execution, timely delivery, stock optimization, etc.

Specific functions you will be responsible for … 

  • Managing purchasing of all IT assets both internally and through managed services provider.
  • Developing an IT procurement policy for all Verra IT assets and communicating guidance to our team.
  • Developing a “no touch” deployment, setting up and managing third-party providers to establish quick, efficient deliveries to new hires domestically and internationally.
  • Establishing new vendor relationships for international shipping and distribution.
  • Product support and warranties, maintenance, software contracts, hardware purchases, and all license information, including renewals.
  • Developing and maintaining an asset-tracking software system.
  • Obtaining and reviewing competitive bids, quotes, and proposals from vendors; discussing evaluations and reviews with requesters and subject matter experts.
  • Handling defective equipment requests, including EOL – End of Life management.
  • Researching products and equipment as technological improvements are needed; preparing product/equipment specifications.
  • Coordinating with our IT Security Manager to establish security and data protection policies and proper vetting of any new software or technology assets.
  • Maintaining our repository of enterprise software licenses/keys; makes recommendations for purchasing based on anticipated headcount levels.

You bring with you…

  • A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with at least three years of work experience working in a Technology operations environment.
  • Experience with software licensing and volume purchasing agreements for major enterprise IT asset suppliers (e.g., Microsoft, Dell, HP…).
  • Experience with project management to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time, within budget, and with good partner adoption.
  • A customer-service approach and passion for technology, you’re committed to keeping up-to-date on new developments in IT. 
  • Effective, empathetic communication and presentation skills, you enjoy teaching and training others.

Compensation at Verra

To help us attract and retain top talent, Verra pays employees competitively in the market. In return, we expect each employee to, at a minimum:

  • Embody Verra’s values.

For this position, the salary range is between $81,371 – $92,383 USD. The compensation band is based on a U.S. base salary range and shares the min and max base salary for the position. This position is eligible for remote work.  

The final compensation offered will be contingent upon role, level and location. Our Talent team can share the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

We will recognize employees who go beyond expected performance with salary increases and/or promotions, but the bar for earning those rewards is high.

Remote candidates will be considered. However, you must have work authorization in your location that does not require sponsorship from Verra. Additionally, there are locations in which Verra is not able to support fully remote work.

Wherever possible, we aim to find mutually aggregable solutions for international hiring. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Salary is one component of Verra’s total compensation package which also includes:

  • Health, vision and dental care, and life insurance;
  • Verra contributions to each employee’s retirement plan;
  • Verra contributions as required by national labor laws in countries where staff are located;
  • Paid Time Off (PTO), comprising 22-30 days plus eleven floating holidays, sabbatical after five years of service, and other leave allowances; and
  • Funds to support professional development.
