Under the supervision of IT Officers, the IT intern will be responsible for providing end user support for Head Office users.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
· Setting up, Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
· Taking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues;
· Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
· Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
· Managing of IT store room and ensuring processes are followed;
· Ensuring that IT inventory is up to date and accurate.
· Perform any other duties assigned to him/ her by the supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related qualification preferred.
· Knowledge of working international donor funded organizations is essential
