Job Description
Responsible for providing high-level technical advice and support for the installing, testing, and maintaining of IT Infrastructure (Gaming, Hospitality) components for the business unit with specific regard to but not limited to
· Providing all aspects of technical support to end-users within the constraints of the technical processes.
· Ensuring stability and maximum availability of client infrastructure components.
· Responsible for performing all assigned end-user client technical tasks.
· Ensuring end-user training needs are identified and resolved through on-the-job coaching.
· Recommends for continuous improvement as per identified faults.
· Ensuring day-to-day 2nd level fault closure as per the SLA (process execution).
· Ensuring calls assigned to them are executed and resolved within required SLA MTTR’s targets.
· Regularly monitors and accurately checks IT client/server and guest-facing infrastructure. (Daily, Weekly, Monthly IT Shift Checklist)
· Monitors systems and corrects, when necessary, using a known solution, or refers if not known.
· Advises and guides team members with regard to basic problem resolution.
· Ensuring knowledge of IT asset movement and assignment in accordance with IT Asset register.
· Updating IT assets and IT asset auditing is performed on regular basis.
· Adherence to system maintenance requirements as per business needs and SOP’s.
· Daily investigations into IT faults and errors to prevent re-occurrence, thus preventing future downtime.
Qualifications
· IT Related Diploma or NQF Level 6
· CompTIA A+
· Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
· Dell Equal logic (advantageous)
· ITIL Foundation V3 Certification
· Meets all the requirements for a gaming license (for properties with Casinos)
Additional Information
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant IT industry experience
