Bureau of Statistics (BOS) will be conducting the 2019/2020 Agricultural Census in October 2020. The Census is a complex, large-scale operation that is usually undertaken once in every decade. It is one of the largest statistical data collections undertaken by Bureau of Statistics.
The Bureau of Statistics therefore invites medically and physically fit citizens of Lesotho under the age of 50 years to apply for the following temporary positions tenable in the ten (10) Districts of Lesotho:

Job Summary
Under the Supervision of Data Processing Manager, IT Coordinator is responsible for provision of technical assistance to the Enumerators and Supervisors during mobile 2019/20 Agricultural Census throughout Lesotho.
MAIN DUTIES
• Manages Agricultural Census data collection equipment (Tablets and
accessories).
• Installs and tests applications on Enumerators and Supervisors
Tablets.
• Provides application training to Enumerators and Supervisors.
• Provide assistance to Supervisors on data transfer from Tablet to BOS
Server during data collection.
• Provides technical assistance to Enumerators and Supervisors during
data collection.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
