The main purpose of the job is to provide indirect procurement services to the country based stakeholders, and follows / implements the global/regional procurement strategies.
Reporting: This role will be reporting to Director: Purchasing
Job Objectives

Collaborate in the segment strategy development and implementation.

Execute sourcing and implementation of binding agreements in line with the strategy.

Select suppliers and sign agreements in line with valid Volvo Group directives.

Drive supplier relationship when appointed as a supplier host.

Follow up supplier performance according to agreed KPI’s.

Drive price renegotiation and update contracts.

Contribute to the segment financial contribution targets.

Maintain proper stakeholder relationships.
Education & Job Experience
-
Must have a Supply Chain Management Degree/ Diploma or Logistics Management / Purchasing Diploma / Degree

Must have 5-7 years in Indirect Products and Services purchasing in an automotive environment

Must have experience working in an international environment

Must have knowledge and experience in Commercial contracting

Must have basic financial knowledge

Must have Project Management knowledge

Must have experience in working with TCO (Total cost of ownership)

Must have working knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Purchasing procedures
