Invitation to Submit Names to Fill Vacancies in the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC)
In terms of Section 66 of the Constitution, the Council of State has requested registered political parties to submit a list of names of potential candidates for the position of:
- Chairperson
- Two Commissioners
A person to be appointed as a member shall be of high moral character and proven integrity, and should either:
- Qualify to hold a high judicial office, or
- Possess considerable experience and demonstrated competence in the administration of public affairs
Call for Submissions
Lesotho registered political parties are inviting qualified and interested Lesotho citizens to submit their names together with a Curriculum Vitae.
