CONSTRUCTION OF POLIHALI WESTERN ACCESS ROAD – EAST
INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS: BLASTING SERVICES
RUMDEL/AC JV has been awarded a contract by LHDA to construct a road from Masakong to Semenanyana under C4017B of Phase II of LHWP.
Prospective bidders are invited to present pricing for blasting services for Rumdel/AC JV for the next 12 months. Interested bidders must contact the contracts manager at mail address [email protected] for acquiring BOQ and specifications. The blasting volumes is in the order of 1 000 000mᶾ and as such, only experienced blasting contractors with at least 6No. (Minimum) drill rigs will be entertained. Blasting will include but not limited to bulk road blasting, trench blasting, restricted bulk blasting and quarry blasting. Expected monthly production will be between 70 000 and 100 000 mᶾ per month. Tenderers need to show capacity and a proven track record in order to meet production needs.
Tenders must also meet a minimum 75% Lesotho participation in their submission for tendering entities either at JV level or as Lesotho owned enterprises.
Bidders are required to be registered entities specializing in blasting services. Valid Blasting Permits, import permits of explosives and transport of explosive permits must be submitted with tender. All bidders must also provide valid tax certificates and and proof of WCA at tender submission. Failure to comply with any of the requirements listed above will result in disqualification.
