Project Description
This project seeks to construct a formalised, multi‑purpose vendors’ market at Ha Clifford, Plot No. 12284–285, Maseru.

The Government of Lesotho, through the Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) in collaboration with the Maseru City Council (MCC), has reserved funds for construction works at Ha Clifford and Ka Sakeng Vendors’ Markets.
The project aims to bring together eligible historic vendors into a structured, serviced, and regulated facility.
Project Scope
The proposed market will be a formal multi‑storey facility, including but not limited to:
- Structured trading bays and storage areas
- Sanitation and water infrastructure
- Solid waste management systems
- Stormwater drainage systems
- Ancillary commercial facilities
Eligibility
LNDC invites sealed bids from:
- Category A and B Contractors
- Contractors registered with the Ministry of Works
Procurement Method
- Conducted in accordance with the Lesotho Public Procurement Act, 2023
- Governed by the Lesotho Public Procurement Regulations, 2025
- National Competitive Bidding (NCB) method will apply

Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
