The Proposed Provision of Construction for Qalabane Filter Clinic
- The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho intends to utilize its funds towards the cost of improving Health Services facilities. The Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from suitably qualified bidders for the Proposed Provision of Construction of Qalabane Filter Clinic (Mafeteng).
- This invitation is for qualified Contractors registered as local business entities in Lesotho. They must also be registered for Category (A) from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
- The bidders should arrange provision of bid security with their financial institutions. Bids must be accompanied by 2% bid security of the bid amount for each Lot. Bid security is refundable as per tender document clauses.
- Bid document is M500.00 non-refundable and obtainable from:

- Bids should be inclusive of Taxes. However, the amount of Tax should be stated separately.
- A Mandatory site visit will be at Qalabane Filter Clinic on the 29th September 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
Arising questions shall be addressed directly to the Ministry of Health representatives at the above-mentioned address.
- Bidders may request clarification on any aspect of this ITB at the email indicated above on or before the 08th October 2026. Request for clarification will not be accepted after this date. The client shall respond to requests for clarification no later than the 9th October 2026.
- The deadline for submission of Bids is the 22nd October 2026 at 11:00 a.m. (Lesotho local time). Bids in the required format must be delivered to the address above at or before the time specified above. Late bids will be rejected.
- A duly signed Bid form by an authorized representative of the Bidder must be submitted by hand to the address indicated below. Late bids will be rejected. The bids shall be in English.
Soft copy submissions will not be accepted. Bidders must submit one (1) original and three (3) copies of the proposal. The cover/envelope of the proposal must clearly indicate that it is for:

Qualifications Requirements
Qualifications requirements include, amongst others:
a) Valid identity documents of the shareholders
b) Tax clearance and business licences
c) Bid security
d) Bills of quantities must be fully completed and signed as per tender document.
