INVITATION FOR BIDS
Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (Project Management Unit)

- The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho has received funding from the Global Fund under the COVID-19 component. A portion of the proceeds will support the implementing sub-recipients in procuring minor works for the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS).
- The Ministry of Finance Project Management Unit (MOFDPMU) invites sealed bids from Category A & B Contractors for the minor works detailed below:

Note:
- Contractors may bid for one, a combination, or all lots.
- Each contractor may submit only one quotation per lot.
- Evaluation will be lot-by-lot, and a maximum of one lot will be awarded per contractor, unless non-compliance or value-for-money considerations dictate otherwise.

Submit in writing no later than 15 May 2025 to: - Bid Submission Deadline:

- Opening: 22 May 2025 at 10:15 hrs (same venue)
- Late submissions, emailed or faxed bids will not be accepted
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 2% of the bid amount per lot (Bank Guarantee, valid for 120 days)
- Mandatory Documents:
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Trader’s License
- Certificate of Bona Fide Bidding
- Registration Certificate from Ministry of Public Works
- Qualification Requirements (per lot):
- At least 5 years of experience in similar projects
- Successful completion of contracts totaling not less than M2,000,000 in the last 5 years
- Evidence of capital or credit equal to at least 50% of the bid amount
- Compliance with Section II, Clause 5.2 (a–g) of the Bid Data Sheet
- Margin of preference will apply for local companies per the Public Procurement Act, 2023
