- Government of Lesotho is implementing the Lesotho Covid-19 Emergency Preparedness
and Response Project with the International Development Association’s (IDA) financial and technical support.
- The Principal Secretary of Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply and Delivery of Seven 4×4 Single cab vehicles for waste disposal management.
- Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Health head -quarters from Procurement Unit or email Mr. N Leutsoa and cc Mr. M. Motsukunyane on following emails, [email protected] cc [email protected] and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 08:00 to 16:00 hours at the address given below.
- A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of LsL2,000.00 to Ministry of Health Head Quarters, Accounts Unit level 1 Corner Constitution Road & Linare Road Maseru Lesotho. The method of payment will be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Cash Deposit. Interested bidders should request banking details from the following email; [email protected]make follow up through the following contacts 27323277. Proof of payment should be submitted to the Project Accounting Unit 1st Floor (PAU 2 & 3) at Ministry of Health, Head Quarters Maseru thereafter collect the Bidding Document at Procurement Unit Ground Floor.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 31st August, 2023 09:30 hour’s Local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 31st August, 2023 10:00 hour’s Local time.
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of LsL150,000.00 in a form of Bank Guarantee valid for 30 days beyond validity of the bid, Traders license, tax Clearance, Power of Attorney, Bid Form and Price Schedule signed.
- Ministry of Health reserves the right to cancel the tender before submission or opening of the tenders, postpone the tender submission or opening date and accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The Ministry of Health is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
